I have two type communication media 1- rs-232 communication channel 2- 4wire leased line channel with two modem of telenetic miu 2.4 kbps and have a scada system with rs-232 interface need to poll data from a dcs system that have aprotocol converter to convert data structure from modbus EHERNET to IEC-870-T101 PROTOCOL with rs-232 interface - it work with the digital channel rs-232 and dont work with telenetics modems -although it work with aspcial small RTU work directly with iec protocol -i know ther is aconflict between modem and the protocol converter so ineed your support to define the point of conflict many thnks

You will need RS-232 to USB cable, Delta PLC programming software WPL Soft and computer. And for hmi communication you will need communication cable. You can communicate hmi with plc over RS-232 protocol.

For connecting a RS-232 port with a RS-485 port you need a signal level adapter since they work with different voltage and signal types, RS-232 uses unbalanced signals and RS-485 uses balanced signals, if you want to build your own adapter please check the following schematic as a reference:

I have no idea what it means for a Senao to "go to Realtek."
Here is the factory reset procedure for the Senao EOC-3220:

An RS-232 null modem serial cable is required for this procedure.

1. Connect the EOC-3220 to your computer with a null modem serial cable.

2. Start a HyperTerminal session: Click Start and then select Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> HyperTerminal.

3. After the HyperTerminal window appears:

a. Give this new connection a name. Ex: EOC-3220.

b. Select correct COM port. Ex:COM1.

c. Set baud rate as "38400", data bits "8", parity "none", stop bits "1", and flow control as "None". Then press "OK" to bring up the HyperTerminal window.

4. Wait until the "#" is displayed in the HyperTerminal window.

5. Type "flash reset", then hit enter.

6. Type "reboot", then hit enter. After the device reboots, all settings will be at factory default.

I have huawei ets2558 with cable usb - rs 232 TUSB3410 but is not working with windows 7

i believe it means rx receive and tx transmitt


in rs 232 communication (serial communication modem fax etc) line 2 is tx (transmitt and 3 is receive rx hope that helps
