Question about Tatung CLT-L50 15" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Open Question

I turned the security monitor Triview TLM-1505 off for the weekend and it will not turn back on. There is power to it. I tried holding the "on" button down and also the "+" button to try to reset it. Any ideas?

Monitor shuts off

Is the monitor light turning off, indicating the monitor is turning off? Or is the monitor/computer going to sleep?
How do you get the monitor to turn back on?
Verify the power cord is securely plugged into both the monitor and the outlet.
Try a different outlet.

Neumann TLM mic is inoperative when connected to PA with same cable that worked with Shure SM 58 mic

The Shure SM58 is a dynamic microphone instead of the electret one Neumann TLM 103. This means that Shure does not need a phantom power supply voltage, instead of Neumann TLM 103; this one needs 48Volts. Here are the specifications for each one of the microphones: Shure SM 58 - Neumann TLM 103. In case you use a pre-amplifier or an audio console try to locate a switch marked as "Phantom Power" and turn it on. Typically there is no problem supplying a phantom power at the SM58. In case you have no phantom power switch available, either post back the mixer brand / model to check it for you, or post me a question to suggest you one. Details about the usage and the mixer you are already using will help me to clarify the total audio situation.

No power to monitor

Check the power supply for 5v and 12v in the power supply section, also look for bad caps, see example of failed monitors due to bad caps here: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

We leave our computer turned on at night but we turn off the monitor. The last two weeks when we have turned on our monitor in the morning it will show the desktop but when we move the mouse the monitor...

Yes. Do not turn the monitor off by its power switch, let the computer do the work for you. Alot of times when people use the power switch to turn off the monitor, the computer sees that all of a sudden the monitor has been disconnected from the pc. when that happens the pc sees it as a device beimg unplugged and removes that certain device from the pc's list of things that should be connected, and when you turn it back on the pc sees it again and starts loading drivers for that new part(monitor)

I never turn off my monitor, just my computer. Over the weekend, the monitor started shutting off when I turned off the computer and it would take several tries to turn it back on. After 3 days of this,...

You should have turned off your monitor,it being on al the time has burned something out. Cheaply made electronics will eventually over heat and fail. even brand name computer products have been using cheap defective capacitoris from China, which result in whole product lines failing.
Is this a no name monitor or a brand name?
Check if it is under warranty or buy sn inexpensiver replacement. Repairs will cost you as much as a new one.

Monitor screen goes black

try booting the computer in safemode you can do this by pressing f8 continuously when the computer is booting until a menu comes up select safemode. If this is unsuccessful then the monitor has a physical issue.
