This usually means that no paper has been fed from the paper cassette or the machine was turned off when you had a paper jam. Remove the paper cassette from the machine and ensure that nothing is stopping the paper from feeding. Also look into where the machine locates in the copier to ensure that no paper is jammed behind the cassette. The paper feed rollers may need cleaning or replacing.
Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.
Usually a printer doesn't lie when it indicates a paper jam, if you have checked as thoroughly as possible and no paper can be found. It is possible that the paper just isn't feeding and a printer will sometimes indicate a paper jam when paper doesn't feed. But if this isn't the case and a jam is indicated as soon as you turn the printer on, one of the plastic jam sensing actuators may be broken or hung up.
Hi, a C2500 error code relates to the paper feed area. It indicates either a faulty paper feed motor, loose plug for the motor or lubrication problem in the feed area.
clean the paper feed roller with a damp cloth after removing the paper tray, otherwise call a technician since parts may need to be replaced, including the roller in case.

I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this
way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps.Bud
That is the problem, machine will show printer jam if paper feed rollers fail to pick up paper when requested, your machine sounds like it needs new paper feed roller or you can clean the paper feed roller with a slightly! damp cloth.
If no jam light shows when power is turn on and machine comes to ready and then you send a job to printer and it then shows jam then it is the feed roller or sometimes the feed clutch
If on the other hand it always show jam then there is or a switch is stuck.
