Question about Pit SSR 110CC Pro Beginner Bike

1 Answer

I have a ssr 110 pitbike. I just bought a inner flywheel stator kit and I am attempting to wire it. Instructions not so easy as it states one thing, then pictures another. I have a kill switch with green and white/black wires, magneto with black wire and pickup with white wire. Coil has yellow/black with green wire, green from kill switch wired into coil green, and a CDI box with yellow, red/white, white and two green wires. Any assistance would be outstanding, thanks

hi, thanks for your response. The ignition part is a performance inner rotor kit. It looks generic. It has a plate with a coil magneto on one side, a pickup on the other, a cdi box, and the magnet that goes on the crankshaft. Wires as described before, thanks

Hmmm, I am unfamiliar with that brand, is that in fact the brand / manufacturer of the part, "performance"? There should be a manufacturer listed, that just sounds like the generic part name to me... Let me know, but chances are you may need to give the manufacturer a call for clarification, but once I know who makes it I can check what I can find for you.

There are two yellow wires and 1 red wire on a voltage regulator on a Briggs and Stratton 22hp. The the mower flooded recently.

the two yellows go under the flywheel to the stator , they are a/c current that is converted to 13.8 volts D/C in the voltage regulator .I would not think it being under water would hurt the stator or regulator . Maybe the mud under the flywheel might grind things.

No compression in 110 pitbike

your piston or your piston rings are gone. take off head if you r confident enough it is only 4 head screws. just don't try to rip it off. gently ease it off and i am 100% sure its your piston or your rings mate:)

How do i remove the ststor from my ktm mxc 300

Disconect the stator wiring coming from the engine cover, drain oild if its a wet coil, remove engine cover, remove fly wheel (will need a puller or flywheel removal tool witch threads into the fly wheel inner thread and pops it off when you screw the bolt down the inner thread of the puller) remove the stator bolts and thats you.

My 110 bike is slower than others i no on

adding a performance exhaust system to most motorcycles will boost horsepower 3 to 7%. If the motorcycle is carburated, a larger jet and a high flow breather (filter) will help to gain the maximum.

Radiator fans dont run????

I believe that the problem you are encoutering is a bad SSR (solid state relay). This device is wired in series with the fans and causes them to run at various speeds depending on engine needs. It is quite common that these devices fail. I would look at trying to get a new one...not sure of the cost but very easy to replace yourself.
