Question about Garmin n?vi 265WT Car GPS Receiver
This happens a lot with the 2xx series nuvis. Generally the cause is that the mini USB plug on the power cord when it appears to be fully in is not. This is due to wear on the mini USB socket. Push the plug in further and it should solve the problem

1) Disconnecting the nuvi from the charging cable.
2) Press and hold the battery meter icon for 8 seconds. This puts the nuvi into "system test" mode.
3) Plug in the power cable.
4) Click "Exit." The nuvi should now reboot, but remain in GPS mode!
