Question about Sony VAIO VGP-WKB1 Keyboard
This is one of two things
Either the fine ribon connector from the keyboard to the motherboard is loose or ha moverd in which case checking and re-inserting it should fix the problem.
The keyboard itself has become defective. That is not uncommon on laptops due to the lighter thinnner nature of the keyboard itself.
You have two options for the second issue.
ONE is to use an external keyboard as they are cheap and eaily obtainable. That will allow yuo to continue to use the laptop.
TWO is to get yourself a replacement and install it. It is not all that hard and replacement laptop keyboards asre surprisingly cheap and available from EBAY.
This is where I tend to get all mine. Just ensure you specify or get the one for the correct country as that does change the symbols on the keyboard
