Possible that the received message contains some malware. So first of all delete the files, can be media or games that might make the program shut down and further damage the phone.

To solve this two problem flashing is the best way.So contact mobile repairing shop or follow the procedure below.

First download and install Pheonix from this link. Nokia Phoenix Service Software 2011 - Download secondly Download flash file from this link 3110c file and install it to C / program files/pheonix.. after finished this installation open pheonix . Inside the interface at the> top left <there you see "File" click there and choose "open file" and then select the approprait Product type i.e "which is written on the back panel inside the battery of every Nokia(Type RM-000).After doing this again at the left top count from "File"1..2..3..the 4th one is "Flashing" press there, when you click there you'll see three sub-menus, just select the "Firmware Update" again you'll see another interface. Look at the product code there should be blank and put your "mouse tool" at the straight end from the "Product Code" there is a Button and choose the code which is written in the back side of your phone. e.g CODE:0000000.if the same code does not found just take one which is higher. After this you can see "Dead phone USB flashing" click that box. Now this is the last stage... Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead, unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" button after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" etc. insert charger or press it and wait until the phone will Restart automatically in normal mode 10-15 minutes. My nokia 3110c is blinking n switch off after the logo appear

Those who still have this restarting problem on Nokia 3110c ... Im telling the solution again, step by step. It ll work . you dont need to go 4 the firmware v5.05 If ur phone restarted 3 or 4 times and switched off automatically. Try this method 1] Remove the battery and Micro SD card 2] wait about 5 minutes 3] Then switch On the phone WITHOUT the memory card
Now ur phone working well without restarting
4] Then you must restore Factory settings frm the Settings Menu [default security code:12345] {i know most of people have done this thing,but remember u have 2 go with the correct order.Unless it will not work.OK}
5] Now apply a theme. The theme's size should be below 100kb
6] Now ur phone working fine without the Micro SD
7] Then wait about 5 minutes and Switch off ur phone
8] Remove the battery and insert the Micro SD {Don t Format the memory card}
9] Switch On ur Nokia 3110c phone. 10] Now Keep ur free Phone memory space [Not the memory card's free space] between 470kb - 499kb.
Now surely ur 3110c working fine about 5 months.During these time u can 1] Send/receive any file via bluetooth. 2] Enjoy Music,video, GPRS,Yahoo Go .....etc 3] Also u can Update music library anytime.

My mobile handset model is nokia 3110c.Its getting restarted frequently.I kept the mobile switched off and removed the battery too for some minutes.then switched on the mobile after a while without memory...

Firstly try to download this http://www.driversdown.com/drivers/Nokia-Phoenix-Service-Software_92760.shtml
Secondly download
3110c files And install it in your PC..Disconnect all usb devices.
Now connect the phone with usb data cable without power on the phone to PC.Open Nokia pheonix...Click to "FILE" and select "open product" Choose 3110c rm237.Next Click to "Flashing" and then open "FPS-8C FLASH " after opening this just click to "Close" button and again click to "Flashing" select "FIRMWARE UPDATE" NOW you can select the firmware version as well as the product code at the top right whch is showing a small browse window.Remember if the product code of the particular is not there just select the highest one.
After loading ..Click to "Dead phone" and again press to "REFURBISH"
Wait until a message shows that "PRESS POWER BUTTON" Press it and wait until the phone automatically switch on.
Good luck.......

I have a problem with switching my nokia 3110 classic answer pls!

The Problem with Nokia 3110c – Switching off and automatically restarting This is what happens. Nokia 3110 hangs, gets switched off and restarts randomly. More often, it restarts around 3 times or so and then gets switched off.
Possible Causes and Solutions Cause 1 – Phone Memory Full – Nokia 3110c mobile phone has got 9MB of internal memory.
Solution – Keep the free space between 350 to 500 KB, so as to keep things running smoothly on your phone and prevent Nokia 3110c from restarting.
Cause 2 – Changing Themes – Some people have reported that the phone restarts automatically when they try changing display themes on the phone.
Solution – Don’t get your phone loaded with too many themes downloaded from the internet or atleast, don’t switch themes frequently. These themes, mind you, also load up things into your already falling Nokia 3110c phone memory.
Cause 3 – Memory Cards – Some people have reported that Nokia 3110c restarts due to some issues with the memory card.
Solution – Remove the card, get it formatted and then insert it back and then restore factory settings. This just might solve the issue.
Cause 4 – Transferring data via Blueooth / USB data cable (or) Updating Music Library – A few people have reported that their Nokia 3110c mobile phone restarts when updating the music library.
Solution – Don’t try updating of music library frequently or don’t often transfer data in/out of your Nokia 3110c phone.
Cause 5 – MP3 files
Solution – This may seem dumb, but consider converting all your MP3 music files to WMA and then store them on the memory card. Some users suggested this.

Also try this:-----
It ll work . you dont need to go 4 the firmware v5.05

but remember below DONTs
1] Don t try to change themes.{u have to stick with a theme}
2] Charge ur phone in ON mode
3] Dont fully discharge the battery
4] Start charging ur phone when there is only a bar on Battery indicator
5] Dont erase calender notes

Make sure about above 5 Donts

Dont worry if ur phone restarted once.{U know the problem is restarting several times
and automatically swiched off.}

After 4 or 5 month there is a possibility to occur the problem again.
if so Follow the above steps again.
Good luck
To be frank, This mobile has this as a generic problem. As I told, The problem can come back again.

Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
