Its slow loading up and sometimes dosent load up at all when it does load up it dosent show any mail its all blank

The first thing you should check is to try if your operating system boots in safe mode.
If it does you may want to check for viruses or malware in your computer.
After you cleaned your pc you should restore your operating system by windows cd.
Pay attention, if you can enter in safety mode you should do a backup of all of your data before doing anything

My computer is slow Carachteristics Cup: 3.2 Ram: 2 Giga Cash M: 2

Run a Disc Defragmentation: found under the start menu, accessories, system tools.

After this, under the same menu list, run a "disc cleanup".

Also, consider installing the following:

webroot window washer
webroot Essentials

You can find these at http://www.webroot.com

My windows xp home is slow on loading websites as compared to other machines on the same wireless. What could be the reason for this

There could be many possible reasons for your machine being slow loading websites:

- Do you have a lot of programs running in the background?
- Are you using the same browser as the other machines on your network?
- Does your computer have as much RAM as the other computers?
- Is your wireless adapter as fast as the adapters on the other computers?

Hello,

Try to check if you have installed a driver that makes your system boot unsuccessful. Also try to run it using safe mode by rebooting your Operating system and pressing F8 to enabled the safe mode loading. Otherwise the worst scenario here is to reinstall the Operating system.

Thanks

I have Windows Vista Ultimate, my computer was running slow, so I decided to reinstall the OS. It boots with no problem and goes as far as setting up your computer. Then a window pops up stating windows...

Your missing the files that load the operating system. Put the vista disk back in, let it run and it will eventually ask if you want to setup or repair. Choose repair and then type "fixboot". That will fix your master boot record so the operating system can load.
