Question about Kenwood Car Audio & Video

Open Question

I am having Kenwood make KDC MP333 WMA/MP3 player in my car. Since last few days the same is not working. I have checked the same and found that the front panel is faulty. I want to replace only the faulty front panel, will it be available with any of the Kenwood dealers ? If yes, what will be approximate price ? Also please note that MP333 model does not support USB. Is there any other compatible model which supports USB and the front panel of the same can be fitted in the existing amplifier chasis of MP333 so that I can get USB compatibility. If so please give model no. and price of front panel of the same.

SOURCE: Adding MP3 Input to Kenwood R/C

To be honest, I can't find one spec of info on that stereo on the internet. It's possible the DIN connection you see is for controlling a CD changer. If so, it's possible you can use either this cable or this cable to turn it into an AUX input. But without a manual or anything, it's hard to know for sure. You have to contact Kenwood.

SOURCE: Kenwood KDC-MP832U display not working

I had this problem! It was the Cars Battery. Kenwoods unit's fade or go completely blank when there is little power to power the stereo. Try charging your battery or grabing a new one from a scrappy! I was all over the net looking for help but finally sorted it!

P.S. My younger brother had to do the exact thing and it worked for him as well!!!

It will work with Kenwood similar models but not with other models as the codes are different with all makes and models.

make sure you have no bare or shorted speaker wires and check your speakers to make sure they are all good. if that all checks out, you probably have a bad output ic.

Kenwood deck cd eject problem

Actually, yes! That could very well damage any unit without a protection mode. Unfortunately, in my long time experience in car audio, a deck that spits cd's out has a damaged or misaligned laser lens. This could be caused by driving to fast through pot holes, speedbumps, or going down train tracks. Find an electronics repair shop locally to see if having it repaired will out weigh a new deck. I found one new in box on ebay for $89 + shipping.
