Just try to download some other player programs which might contain the video codec that supports your videos. You can check on this post for some free media players:

You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is capable of playing 4K video in MKV, MP4 and TS formats, 1080P videos in HD MP4, HD MKV, HD MOV, etc., 720P videos in MP4, AVI, MKV, and other formats, be it camcorder reordered footage, downloaded online video, or streamed video.

This should do it for you: Insert the SD card into your laptop or computer. In the SD card go to "New Folder" name that folder "DCIM" in the "DCIM" folder create a new folder. This one you will name "101KC190" (I'm pretty sure you have the Kodak Easyshare 190, correct?) Now, transfer all of your pictures into "101KC190." Insert the SD into your camera and it should work. email me if you need to [email protected]

Faulty playback after transfer to PC - Kodak M1033

1. Try playing the same vedio in camera itself. If it plays well then there is no problem in camera and also in capturing.
2. If playback is problem in camera itself, then try resetting the camera back to factory setting.
3. If problem is not with your camera, then try playing those vedio in players like klmegacodec or VLC player. Because most of the vedios captured in camera or mobile phone finds difficult to played on normal media players in system.

Transferring pics

Have you taken new pictures with the device, or are these already possibly transferred to your system/PC? If they are already on your PC, it will not add them again (to save you space).
If you chose transfer all, what do you get as a result? Check the log for help.

KODAK EASYSHARE Z710 DIGITAL CAMERA

Hi Tanya

It sounds like something was corrupted when you transferred your pictures to the computer.

If you have all the pictures safely on your computer, it will be ok to reformat the memory card and then just copy and paste the pictures back to the card.

Insert the card in your card reader, go to My Computer, you should be able to see the card as a removable drive. You can click and open it just like a folder and see what is on the card.

I would also back up the pictures to an external drive or dvd so they are extra safe!
