Cont'd-microsoft 2007.... can this be uninstalled...

More than likely unless you paid an additional fee at the time of purchase to have Microsoft Office then it is a trial version which is installed on your laptop. It may ,if it hasn't already, allow to use it 10-20 times before you can no longer use it fully (I say fully because it will allow you to view files but not alter them if you do not input the product key)

And yes you can let the trial expire and later purchase the full version. It would be easiest to purchase the product key direct from microsoft that way all you have to do is input the key when it asks for it...once you enter the product key you will have full access. This is because the full version is already installed on your computer..just waiting for you to input the product key.

P.S. there are other options such as open source software i.e. openoffice.org
