Question about Tricity Bendix AW1000W Front Load Washer
If the drum is whobbly and making noise, then you may have a bad drum bearing. Replacement is a major repair.
If the noise is rattling, ensure that instead of coming from drum the noise is not coming from a trapped object inside the tub. Foreign objects such as small coin end up in the coin trap, whigh is located in hose to drain pump.
Once you drain down the coin, this will end up being caught by the trap filter. The coin trap is accessed removing the panel at the lower front side of the machine. Be prepared to collect water in the hose with a container. Remember to disconnect power before performing any maintainance.
If instead the problem is the drum bearing, you will get the noise turning in a loud rumble or high pitched noise when spinning.
In that case the repair is done accessing and replacing the drum. Outer panel, belt and part of motor assembly must be disassembled in order to reach the bearing located at the back side of the tub.
