    removed and replace old cartridge, cleaned cartridge, replaced cartirdge with new one, still does not work

    My printer won't print ANYTHING off of my computer. NADA!! It still makes copies of stuff, so its not out of ink... I'm really annoyed with it. My moms mad too. Please help!

    my printer is doing the same thing. my problem started when i changed ink, which i have done many times before. if you call HP you need to pay to talk to a technician or they told me i could send it to them for a discount on a brand new one. i told them id fool around with it before i did any of that.

    My printer won't copy,it consistently displays the "Open door,clear carriage jam,then press enter." So I do what it says but still it happens over and over again!

    the only pag that will print is the test page - because I just put in new ink cartridges. Itis like it isn't getting the connection from my laptop?

Turn off printer for 2 minutes @ least, turn back on, or delete printer and re-install printer. Go to HPsupport website enter your printer model info update drivers.

Dell printer will not complete task. If printer is uninstalled then reinstalled it will print one time but doesn't complete the task on the "printing screen". I go to the printer window...

Have you tried the printers on another PC?Please do.
  • Whats the Operating System on your PC?Do the printer drivers correspond with that Operating System?If not,download the corresponding drivers from this dell support site. This you select under compatibility.
  • After uninstalling the printer,disconnect fully and unplug from power.Reboot your PC before installing the printer again.

I have to print a word document in black. Because I have no yellow ink, the printer won't print anything. I have tried everything and just want to print a simple one page document and I have plenty of...


here's a solution i came across when dealing with the same problem. apparently the printer expects all of the cartridges to be full and has a sensor to make sure they are even when only printing black. hope this helps!

My printer won't print.


There are different things to consider if your printer is not printing your document

1. Check if the printer is on
2. Check if the cable from your printer is properly connected to the tower or your pc.
3. Check if your ink cartridges are not empty ( note: most printers will not print if one of the ink cartridge is empty)
4. Check for the error message that appears on your screen every time that your printer fails to print the document ( note: this will help you isolate problem)
5. You can use this link to download the manual for your printer ( this include steps to check your printer settings )

My computer says the printer is ready to print but when you try to print it won,t print and stores the document for printing later.


try to restart the print spooler from services.msc
start>run>services.msc look for print spooler then restart it
see if that helps

Try this only for windows user:


To resolve this, do the following :
  1. Windows 2000: Go to Start, Settings, Printers.
    Windows XP: Go to Start, Control Panels, Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right click on the printer icon and select Properties.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click the Print processor tab. The Print Processor screen appears.
  5. Change the Print Processor to Winprint and change the Default data type to RAW .
  6. Click OK in the Print processor screen.
  7. Click Apply, then OK.
