I think mom needs to by a new MW2 . what's happened is
there is some very sensitive areas on the disk that absolutely
can not have any distortions or scratches or it will get kicked
out as a unreadable disk . the laser lens CUT a deep grove
that is difficult to buff out. the CD will have to be ground down
then buffed out a 2 step operation . I have done it but it takes
the right equipment and grinding compound.

Sorry to here about that ( I love MW2 )

I accidently shook my xbox 360 while it was running and now my modern warfare 2 game got screatched is there a way i can use it again?

It depends how badly scratched your Modern Warfare 2 disk is. There are scratch repair kits, but they can only do so much. If a scratch repair kit doesn't do the trick, take your disk to a place like Best Buy or Gamestop. They have professional solutions to fix your disk. Beyond that, you can always try calling up the game developer. They sometimes have warranty for scratched disks.

Unreadebale disk

have you tried to play any other games since this started? try another game or dvd movie, if it works fine then your Modern Warfare disc is either damaged or defective, if it not scratched try taking it back to where you got it and asking for a replacement. If no other games or movies work then your xbox 360 disc drive has failed, you will have to contact Microsoft and probably send your xbox in for repair.

Unable to read disk

check the disc for any scratch, try cleaning it using a soft cloth,if still the same issue, try other game disc ,check if it will happen with other game disc,if not, the modern warfare disc is the issue, but if the error persist with all the game disc, the problem is your console you need to call xbox your repair

My xbox scratched my modern warfare 2 and now the disk is unreadable because there is a ring going through it

You need to put some rubber pads in the top of the drive so it stabilizes the drive, this website explains it better with pictures:

Try to play call of duty modern warfare 2 on x -box and states disc unreadable have tryed to clean disc and restart console not working

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is only on the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. It is not available for the first XBOX console.
That is why it will not read the disc.

I am playing Modern Warfare 2 on my Xbox 360 and after about 20 minutes it quits reading the disk. Any clue on how to fix this? Other disks work just fine.

Check the disc for any scratches. Clean the disc with some disc repair solution. If you just purchased the game try and take it back to where you bought it for an exchange. If there is no scratches or anything that could stop the disc from reading right it could be your Xbox. Xbox has been known to have many issues with heat maybe your Xbox is getting to hot. In which case the problem is your Xbox and you will have to call Microsoft about getting a new Xbox. My Xbox started to go bad in the exact same way. I would play multiplayer for awhile and it would freeze after playing for a little while. I would then turn the xbox off for a few min then turn it back on and it would work again for awhile untill a few days later when i got the red ring of death which means a hardware fail.
