Question about Olympus VN-240 Digital Voice Recorder
I bought a brand new Olympus VN-3100PC Digital Voice Recorder and have recorded 14 hours of very important interviews for a research project. Get back home and the recorder is giving me a "CHK" error and then a "ERR" message immediately after it. I need to get the data off of it. Can you tell me what I can do to make this happen?

That message comes from low power... try new batteries or send to repair

I have the same problem but simply installing the wave player (which was installed from original purschase anyway) dosent help as with this error the computer dosent recognise the VN-3100Pc as the recorder is simply not working!
