Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

My sound keep pausing while playing Audio or video files, every time i have to toggle between Mono or Stereo so that the sound resume playing. I have searched for the latest Audio drivers and it looks like i have the latest one. I have also tried re-installing the drivers but did not work; in fact few days back i had formatted my PC for some other reason however i was facing this similar issue before and now as well. PS: I am using: 845GVSRL MB; OS: Windows XP

The audio keeps going in and out and cuts off. Also I have other devices going into aux in but it doesn't show 5.1 surround it only shows the front L, Front R, and CT speakers in stereo. I want everything...

If you are playing a source that is Stereo such as FM Radio or a CD the sound will not use all 5.1 speakers unless you enable the correct Surround Mode. On the remote there is a button on the lower right of the remote that says SURROUND. You can toggle through the various surround modes with this button the mode you want is Dolby Pro Logic The Pro Logic mode uses the built-in circuit to steer the Left, Center, Right and Mono Surround channel audio signals and uses all five speakers to play both stereo and Dolby Pro Logic program source, such as TV and VCR. You can use this mode with any stereo program source (such as VCR/TV) to enjoy multi-channel sound experience.

Hi! Sony tuner st-sa5es,stereo lighting is bliking, signal is very good and sound is stereo for short time and mono for short time.Ihave indoor aerial Fanfare,Thankyou.

I still think it is antenna orientation or there is interference. it probably works well on mono perfectly. if not then it is a defective tuner module inside the receiver.

Radio for Sandisk model SDMX1

Press the AB button to toggle between Audio Play, Radio, and Voice Record. Use the left/right scroll to highlight Radio. Then press the center button or play/pause button once to select radio.

You will see FM Radio in the upper left corner of the display. Under that you will see either Preset followed by a number OR Channel. If it is on Preset, you can use the left/right scroll to switch between preset stations. If you press and hold the AB button, the player will scan through all frequencies to find the strongest stations in your area and set those as the default preset stations. When on a particular station, press and hold the record button to delete that station from your presets.

Press the center button once to switch to Channel (or back to Preset). Under Channel, you can manually scroll through the frequencies yourself. Push left or right and hold for about a second to find the next available station.

Press the play/pause button once to toggle between Mono and Stereo.

Those are all the functions I've found so far. Hope it helps.

Good luck,
vw

My sharp 32 lcd keep flashing the channel and audio mode

If your receiver came with audio video cables, hook them to your receiver and to either input 1 or 2 on you flat screen. These inputs support audio video. This will stop that annoying flashing between mono and stereo.

Second if your just playing through your T.V. well its prob mono.. or if your playing through a home audio/video check your audio rca's make sure there pluged in all the way. if you are using home stereo newer model you can use the fiber optic on your ps2 the sound is better make sure your stereo has the same thing or it would be a wasted trip to the store.

Seems to only play in Mono

Karen - Is it only the FM section that is giging you trouble? Does Stereo work for the other inputs - VCR/DVD/Turntable?
Is that stereo button ONLY for the FM section?
