ASUS WL-BTD201M Bluetooth - Fatal startup error

Hi there,
I have installed the drivers for an ASUS WL-BTD201M bluetooth adapter on a windows xp sp2 machine.
After the installation and restart i recieved the BSOD with fatal error

STOP: c000021a {Fatal system error}
The windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000139 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down

It seems after some reading that this may have been caused by the installation replacing some DLL files and corrupting the start up.
I replaced the following DLL files
asycfilt.dll
atl.dll
comcat.dll
mfc42.dll
msvcp60.dll
msvcrt.dll
oleaut32.dll
olepro32.dll
stdole2.tlb

from another xp installation although i am still recieving the same message. Any help would be much appreciated.
