on your itouch, press and hold the home and the power button until the apple appears and it reboots. do you have more than one item here? the ipod press and hold the Menu button and the action/center button untill it reboots. if neither work your charger is toast. get an a/c charger and charge them real good and you will be fine. Good luck
You need a new Ipod. Or to send your currently damaged ipod into apple to be repaired. You have a hard ware issue with the turn wheel. I figure you have probably already figured this out but i'd tell you any ways.
try holding the middle button and menu for like 40 seconds and the apple logo should show up and ask you to plug it into itunes. make sure itunes is open and is the newest version when you plug the nano in.
ok what i would sugest is leaving it for a little while and see if it repairs it self if not the on switch just flick it up really quickly try that a few times hold it and then leave it and then flick it up quickly that worked for me so it sould work for you.
Hi, You probably already have the answer to this, but if you send it to Apple, they may just give you a new iPod. If they even think that it got wet, though, they won't fix it. You will have to replace the battery. There are a number of places that will do that for you. I hopw that helps.
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
