Zoom error (by 3 users)

The main problem with my camera is that whem turn on, the lens will not come out to zoom the focus; and in the LCD it indicates zoom error.

The camera does zoom out to take pictures. The LCD screem indicates zoom error. I try to reset camerera again but fail to solve problem. I removed batteries for a period of time and put them back but the problem remain.

Suggest a new solution for this problem
