Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Scanner problem of Epson stylus CX5500

There is 4 buttons on the left hand side of the unit, these are for copying only. the scanning component of you printer is software driven. You will need to have setup the Epson scanning utilities on your computer. These came with the printer when you purchased it, however are also available for download from Epson in your country / region. Just go to www.epson.com and select your country and download the scanning utilities for your printer.

SOURCE: Epson CX5500 with CISS ink supply not printing

It sounds like the waste ink counter needs resetting. Unfortunately the SSC Service utility does not yet support the CX5500 specifically but as there is support for some of the 5000 series it may work. As with any other 3rd party software it is "at your own risk" I've used it many times in the past with no problems. Failing that you will need to take or send it to a service centre for them to reset it.

You can download SSC from here http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml Don't forget to read the help file before you use the utility (you have to install it first).

Hope this helps.

Hi Good day!! is there any error message? or Blinking orange/red in your printer? if no errors try to restart your printer spooler.
Follow this method:

2. Click "Start"
3. Click "Setting"
4. Click "Control Panel"
5. Choose "Performance and Maintenance"
6. Click "Administrative tools"
7. Click "Services" now you should be on Services box
8. in Services box find "Print Spooler" Click it and then click "stop" at the upper left of the box and then start it again.. hope it works now..

I had purchased an epson stylus printer cx5500 .

Ensure the nozzle check has 4 colours if it doesn't you will need to try head cleaning. you may also need to align the print head. All this can be found in the same place as the option for nozzle check.

If that is ok try a different paper type, ensure you are using relativly fresh ink
