Kenmore Front Load 3.5 cu ft Washing Machine, NO...

Found my washing machine today lit up like a Christmas tree with solid green lights and a load full of soppy towels begging for a spin and rinse. I attempted to interrupt the nonexistant "cycle" anyway I could but the unit wouldn't budge. I could hear the system rev and the water would spurt out a little, but then stopped dead and went back to blinking green lights. Manually, I can spin the drum but the washer isn't willing to perform this action on its own. Help please, I have 5 kids and a bunch of laundry. Should I call out the Sears repairman?
