I have a John Deere JS30 self propelled lawn mower I had issues with it running for 15 minutes and then it stops running. Was low on oil. Added oil over the full line now it runs for 3 min and dies

Wayne, correct your oil level to full line, change your spark plug and try mower. If still acting up after a couple minutes, the Gas cap vent may be plugged, remove or loosen cap to see if mower will run longer and better. If no improvement, the carburetor is dirty and needs cleaned or rebuilt.

Poulan pro 625 series Will not start. I have changed the spark plug. Tested the plug for spark (yes) Checked the primer- works , sprayed starting fluid in spark plug hole and intake -nothing. it act like...

1st: stale fuel...won't burn...regardless of spark...
2nd: watch primer when it comes back up, it must "fill" with fuel...a tiny bubble is o.k. If not, carb replacement...
3rd: Flood to hell and back...remove the plug, pull 5 or 10 times to clear the gas...dry off plug...install...hold trigger wide open, and pull..NO PRIMER

if this works, go back and review starting procedure

The mower starts, buts runs sluggishly, and dies

Most common is a dirty air filter, followed by a plugged vent hole in the filler cap on the gas tank. Next would be fuel issues either in the supply line or in the carburetor.
Hope this helps, --W/D--
