My Hetty Hoover has no suction, but when I take the filter out it has suction Please help!

Throw away your old filter if it is not cleanable. Only clean it if it is a washable filter. If not, buy a new one

Riccar 8850 keeps throwing belt

Your vacuum is at least 10 years old. There are some inexpensive parts that can wear or may need adjustment. You have a very durable vacuum that may have many more years of life but Just like a car, needs to be serviced by a trained qualified technician who knows what to look for. It will save you money I the long run.

Where can I get replacement part for BSG813..UC Vacuum-dust compartment cover? The latch has broken. Please help.

Mine just died, so I replaced it with another brand. I have two carbon filters and several bags as well. I could probably get my old vacuum from the place I purchased my new one from if they haven't tossed it yet. Let me know and I'll call the store right away to keep them from throwing it away. I'll ship everything to you if you like. You would have to pay for shipping. wahlx124@umn.edu

Free owners manual for Necchi 575FA sewing machine

Find the Vintage Necchi page on Facebook. Lots of FREE NECCHI MANUALS there. I will have the 575FA manual posted there in less than a week. These other answers are posted by m0r0ns who are sending you to sites that CHARGE. I guess these stoopid jerks don't know what the words FREE MANUAL mean.

If you go to the Necchi-USA website, they will refer you to a website that sells manuals because they don't want to be bothered by the old machines. Keep that in mind if you consider buying a manual from a company that washes their hands of their products when they decide they can't make enough money from selling parts and keeping free manuals for them.

Hi,
Unfortunately yes...throw it away...
It sound like the heating element blew on the thing... getting a replacement and replacing it will cost more then go to Target and buying a new one....I thnik they are around 100 bucks where I live...not worth messing too much with...

The dust bag inside the outer zippered bag keeps coming loose and making a HUGE mess. does it lock down or something? Wife is ready to throw the whole thing away.

Hi
On most types there is a bayonet type fixing - 2 lugs that line up with 2 slots in the bag seal plate.
You usually need to rotate the bag 45 degrees to push the lugs into the bags plate, then rotate it so the bag is upright again.
This locks it in position.

When you have it working - clean the outer bag outside, as it will continue to throw dust out unless clean.

I have a shop vac. model 500x 1h.p. Center section separation impeller cost of new? Or throw away?
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. There are only 2 ways that I can think of in answer to your question. Either you can replace the fan impeller or you have to replace the entire motor. You would have to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or contact the Shop Vac factory @ the website or to call the factory @ the phone 3 listed below; or check your owner’s manual.

So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Tune up Old Electrolux vacumm

The problem with the older vacuums is that parts may not be available. It may be better to get new. But you could take it in and get an estimate first, then decide.
