Hi,

*)When upgrading from 3GS to OS4.0 usually use to get this problem.
Disable your existing mail accounts and create new one.Go to Settings->Mail.Select the mail accounts that don't work properly and set them to Account->OFF.Then select Add Account from the Settings->Mail screen and create a new one.

*)Some times the user name and password for the outgoing server is empty it will throw this problem.

*)Go to settings->ail account. Select your mail account and then turn it "off" and then back "on".

*)If it is configured automatically by the iphone then it is wrong mail.domain.com like this.If you still don't know the server address call to the network carrier provider customer care and ask him for smtp mail address. He will give it changed for each network.

post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

How to Send a Message From a Computer to a BlackBerry?

A BlackBerry is like the holy grail of communication devices. There are certainly multiple ways of receiving messages on a BlackBerry device---via text message, BlackBerry Instant message, or even with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Probably the most convenient way to send a message from a computer to a BlackBerry handheld device is to send it via email.
Instructions
 1. Get the BlackBerry email address of the intended recipient. The recipient may use an alternate email account from which their messages are forwarded to their BlackBerry device.
 2. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Entourage) on your computer or log on to your web-based email account.
 3. Compose a message. Mail it to the intended recipient at the email address that they use on their BlackBerry.

Bounced email

In computer jargon, a bounced e-mail is one that never arrives in the recipient's inbox and is sent back, or bounced back, to the sender with an error message that indicates to the sender that the e-mail was never successfully transmitted. But what happens when someone sends an e-mail out into cyberspace, and why do e-mails sometimes bounce back?
When a user attempts to send an e-mail, he is telling his e-mail system to look for the domain of the recipient (for example, webopedia.com) and the domain's mail server. Once the e-mail system makes contact with the recipient's mail server, the mail server looks at the message to determine if it will let the message pass through the server. If the recipient's server has predetermined that it is not accepting e-mails from the sender's address (for example, if it has blocked the address for anti-spamming purposes), the server will reject the message and it will subsequently bounce back to the sender. The message will also bounce back to the server if the mail server on the recipient's end is busy and cannot handle the request at that time. When an e-mail is returned to the sender without being accepted by the recipient's mail server, this is called a hard bounce.

Whenever an email returned back it gives a message. Though I can suggest Few reasons for this :
1. Recipient address could be wrong.
2. Recipient address does not exist.
3. Your Email content could have words that is rejected by recipient's email server. Like adult words. Many server rejects adult words.
4. Recipient's email box would be over limit.

My sent email was not receive by the recipients. what is the problem? please help me

there could be a bunch of reasons why the message was not received.

- the email server that received the message has not yet forwarded the email to the recipient.
- if the there is an error in sending email from your email to email server of the recipient you should be able to receive a confirmation that there was an error.
- the recipient might not properly configure the their email client
- you've sent the email to a different address
- your email server has not yet forwarded the email to the email server of the recipient

Open your 'outbox' folder -- there might be one message "stuck" there, due to having an invalid ID.
So, every time that you open your E-mail program, it tries again to send that same message, and, of course, fails to send it. So, just DELETE that E-mail, since it repeatedly cannnot be delivered.

Hi there

E-mail addresses with "noreply" in them will not receive your messages. They auto-reject incoming mail. Please find the correct address for the recipient.

Hope this clarifies.

Gmail account

The response you got was sent by Hotmail's server. Something in your message or something about your e-mail address caused Hotmail to reject the message. Unfortunately, there's no way to pin down exactly what the problem was.

There are a few things you can try, though. Try rewriting your message, maybe change some of the wording, etc., and send it again. If it doesn't go through, try sending from a different e-mail address. If that doesn't work either, then ask the recipient if they have a non-Hotmail address for you to try.
