Question about FUJIFILM Instax 210 Film Camera

1 Answer

The neck ******** my fujifilm instax 210 came undone and my camera dropped on concrete. It turned back in but the film won't come out the top when I take a picture. I took off the back film panel but didn't take out the film back. Is the film ruined? How can I get the film to come back out of the top? Thanks!

The film had a leader, which is meant to be sticking through the top of the camera. The only thing I can figure you can do is to take the film out of the camera, in dim lighting or a dark room, if you have one, and reinsert and guide the film pack in correctly.
There's no guarantees that the film will be good anytime a camera has been opened, but it might, so it's worth a try. What have you got to lose...
Good luck, hope this works for you, and thanks for using FixYa.

For future reference, each piece of film acts as a dark slide (protecting it from light) to the one after it. If you take out a pack of film you only ruin the top picture, all the rest should be protected. The rest of the pack might have occasional light leaks but for the most part they should be fine.

The film comes out all blank when I take a picture on my Fujifilm instax 210. What do I do?

Hi,
try take 10 shot without any films insert to the camera.
If there is flash mean camera is working in goods condition.
It will appear black because someone had open the film cover before, therefore , it detect it's a new film box, and eject the first film cover.
film will appear black.

I dropped my instax 210 because the strap came undone. Now when I take pics, there is a part of the shot that remains white. Is something cracked inside? Should I just buy a new camera?

It may be because the film chemistry is not being activated in that area. As the film is ejected it gets suqeezed to spread the chemistry thru the whole picture for developing. Try a bit of manual rubbing on the back of the picture, from the bottom (thick border) to the top, as soon as it is ejected.
