Get the name of the repairman and the company he/she works for. That company should be held liable for the repair and replacement costs. Some companies will try to tell you that your homeowner's insurance will cover the repairs to avoid having to fit the bill. If you get nowhere with them, locate the Better Business Bureau in your area and file a complaint. You will get results.
