I have Asus G73SW and after replacing primary disk with SSD, instaling Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and all the drivers from Asus Drivers CD the keyboard backlight (and also the lighting underneath the display)...

I recommend reinstalling Windows using the original recovery media from Asus. That should have all of the original drivers and software needed. You can alway upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate after that.

How to turn on &off blue-tooth in hp 6910p

i've compiled everything for you and highlighted your answer

Special instructions for the HP Compaq 6910p

BEFORE WINDOWS INSTALLATION 1) MAC addresses The MAC addresses of the Ethernet (cable) and the wireless interface (WiFi) are written on a label on the side of the box. They are also written on a label at the back of the notebook. They must be registered in the CERN network database via http://network.cern.ch (using another computer) before starting the Windows installation.
2) Wireless switch on
When you start the installation, verify that the wireless light (with an antenna symbol) above the keyboard is on (blue light) in order to install properly the wireless drivers. If not, touch that antenna symbol with your finger: it is a sensitive button.

WINDOWS XP After Windows XP installation 1) Keyboard_Filter_01 As by default users are not in the Administrators group, a window titled "Found New Hardware" may tell you: "You must be member of the Administrators group on this computer to install this hardware: Keyboard_filter_01". In that case ignore that message and first regain administrative privileges by using the NICEAdmin application to add your account in the Administrators group. For that click on the Start button, select All Programs then NiceAdmin then Change Account Status. On the popup window click on Add Me, enter your login password and click on the green button (with an arrow). Then Reboot (a logoff/login is not sufficient). This time, the installation of the Keyboard_Filter_01 driver will be done silently.
Don't forget to use NICEAdmin again to remove yourself from the Administrator group in order to improve computing security after your next login. But don't log off until you have installed all your programs (for example the Bluetooth software explained below).
2) WiFi To setup a wireless network connection, you must be within range of a wireless Access Point. Check also that the wireless interface is switched on (blue light above the keyboard).
When Windows detects a wireless network for the first time, it should prompt you with a Wireless networks detected message in the notification area of your taskbar. If so click the notification message. If you are not notified, click on the Start button, point to Connect To and click on Wireless Network Connection. In either case, you should see the dialog box Choose a wireless network. Select CERN and click connect. On the warning "You are connecting to the unsecured network ...", click on Connect Anyway. Wait until connected to close that dialog box.
3) Bluetooth

If you need to connect to Bluetooth devices, HP provides a software to manage your connections. To be allowed to install this software, you must be registered in the Administrators Group of your computer. For that you can use NICEAdmin: click on the Start button, select All Programs then NiceAdmin then Change Account Status. On the popup window click on Add Me, enter your login password and click on the green button (with an arrow). Then Log Off and login again.

Check that your notebook wireless interface is switched on (wireless button above the keyboard with blue light on). The Bluetooth installation package is located in "C:\SwSetup\HP Bluetooth software v5.1E 26Mar07". In that folder, double click on Setup.exe to start the installation.

After the installation, you can use NICEAdmin again to remove yourself from the Administrator group.
4) DVD player
If you need to play DVD videos you can install the WinDVD player provided by HP for your portable. First right click on the CERN CMF (Computer Management Framework) icon in the system tray. If the CMF icon is not present reboot your computer and wait some minutes. Choose Add/Remove CMF Packages. On the CMF page tick the install box for the package WinDVD player for HP and click on the Save button. Then a CMF balloon should appear proposing to install WinDVD. Click on the balloon (or double-click on the CMF icon). In the CMF windows select WinDVD player for HP and click on Start Now. After some minutes CMF should display a balloon telling The installation of the package *WinDVD player for HP* completed successfully.

WINDOWS VISTA After Windows Vista installation 1) WiFi To setup a wireless network connection, you must be within range of a wireless Access Point. Check also that the wireless interface is switched on (blue light above the keyboard).
Click on the Windows Start button then choose Connect To. Then select CERN, click on Connect and then on Connect Anyway. When the window announcing Successfully connected to CERN appears, put a checkmark in Save this network and in Start this connection automatically. Finally click on the Close button.
2) Bluetooth

To activate the Bluetooth, press the wireless button (antenna symbol above the keyboard) to get a blue light on that button. Then click on the HP Wireless Assistant window which appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. If the status of Bluetooth is not on, click on turn on. Close the HP Wireless Assistant.
3) DVD player

Hi.
Before starting, make sure the keyboard and mouse are ON and with batteries.

Whit the PC already ON:
* The first step is to plug in the USB Bluetooth adaptor.
* Once the Bluetooth adaptor is inserted, allow Windows to install the drivers.
* Once Windows gives it the OK, the USB dongle should have a light or even a button. (If you don’t see a button the "yellow" light is the button).
* Press the USB dongle button....this will tell the dongle to start looking for a Keyboard or mouse.
* On the underside of the mouse (and keyboard) should be a a small button.
* Press the button(s) for ~5 seconds, then release.. this tells teh keyboard (or mouse) to look for a dongle.

This should show a connection between the dongle and the keyboard (or mouse).

Or
With the PC Off:
* Just connect the dongle
* Do the button sequence as described above, unit the dongle light goes “solid” again.
* Start the PC and keyboard and mouse should work perfectly.

Cheers,
Ed

Go to start and run then type services.msc or if using windows 7 just go to start and type services.msc in the search box. Once open find the service "Human Interface Device Access". Change it from manual to automatic and make sure that it is started.
