Question about Siemens Gigaset 4215 Cordless Phone
Try with another phone. If the phone line is ok then the fault is with the power supply of the base station. When the power supply is defective this type noises occur and phone dies due to power failure. This could be due to fault in voltage regulator, capacitors.
Some times jack of the headphone could be a problem.open up the phone and get inside the jack area and tweek (bend) the contacts
If your phone uses battery then it is stone dead.Because of this it is not able to produces the signal. When there is no enough voltage it will make distortion and noises and dies.
post a comment for further assistance.
