SOURCE: Hi I have a Rabbit
I'm not sure if you have seen this Forum web page yet, but it'spretty much all about your Rabbit cutter.
There seems to be a few common issue with the device not working properly in Windows Vista but I haven't read anything about anybody running it on Windows 7. Most people report running it successfully on Windows XP with the serial cable and Com port 2.
Some have even reported that cutting head was getting hung up on an internal ribbon cable and needed to be manually freed before it would work properly.
Also that the USB connection was problematic.
And that sometimes the carriage wheels were not aligned in the tracks properly when delivered.
Anyway here is the link to the forum, there are many pages of comments so you might find something in there that I missed:
I will continue researching the above forum and other sites as well and will get comment back to you here if I see anything else that might be helpful to solving your problem..
