I have same problem . . . believe I have addressed the black oval gasket that was mentioned . . . is in center and covered by clear oval on water tank top (next to red mesh opening that is closed/filled by putting water tank in place . . .

But still not drawing/sucking water . . . when put on "tools" instead of "floor cleaning" there is only a slight amount of suction . . .

When power on much blowing - but not sucking - at base of unit where sits atop the floor . . . Frustrated

There is a gasket, black oval shaped that sits on top of the clear window, the tank lip will sit over this, is it there and seated correctly. Is the tank filter clogged?

take the tank off and make sure their is suction coming through the suction port. While you are there make sure the rubber seal is on it. Let us know if this is not the problem and we can go from there.

Bissel proheat is not sucking up water

There is a oblong black seal that sits where the tank lip and the clear noozle window come together, is it there. Also make sure the filter in the tank lid is clean.

Where the lip of the tank sits on the clear window, is the gasket there? If it is missing, it won't suck up the water. It is black, oblong (#24)and sits in a slot on the clear window providing a seal for the tank. Is the filter clean(#62), should be sitting in the square opening on the bottom of the lid, it sits right over the sucking opening.

Problem with staemcleaner

Check the bottom of the solution bottle to make sure that the seal is on the valve and not in the hole that it sits in.

Check to make sure that the seal that sits on top of the clear window, it seals the opening between the top and the tank. Also is the filter clean, the one on the bottom of the lid?
