The following Sony deck is compatible with the cdx-646 changer: cdx-gt650ui. It has a remote and will recognize the changer. I know because I have this exact set up on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Note: You need to use the BUS out into the back of the deck.

According to the manual at sony's web site, the sony cdx gt520 deck does indeed use RCA style hook up cables.

My CD player is reading "No Disc"

The laser has most likely failed or needs to be adjusted. If you cannot take it out and take it apart, and use small tools and a meter, replace it or have it professionally done.

I'm replacing the speakers in my Jeep liberty with the 6 disk in dash changer w/ infinity speakers. What are the which colors are which speakers?

If you have not cut them yet, DONT. Go to cartoys or ebay and look for adapters. If you have cut them then go to autozone dot com and make a free account and then logon and put in the year and make and model and then look at the free repair guides to see if the schematic wiring diagrams have the information on the stereo.

Hooked to speakers. no sound do i need a reciever? and if so what kind.

Yes, unless you're using self-powered speakers. Then there's the little matter of controlling volume. Otherwise, any amp or receiver that accepts the RCA or digital outputs. Find and read the manual.

BTW: how did you hook it to speakers?

I have a JVC CH-X1100 CD changer in my truck. The sound is only coming out clearly on the driver side speakers....the passenger side speakers sound very low and distorted.

It is only a loose or broken wire to the left speakers. Try at the speaker itself first, and then at the radio. If both of these connections are tight, then check back along the wiring and check that the wiring TO THE RADIO LEFT SPEAKER is OK. If OK, you may have a break in the wire from the radio to the speaker.. It could even be an internal break that is hard to see. The easiest way would be to replace that wire.

I am needing to hook up a pioneer 6 disc cd changer to a pioneer stereo I have all the harnesses and wires

if hookimg up to a pioneer deck its just more simple by just plugging it in to the back of the stereo. but if u are going through an fm modulater u must adapt antenna to the radio and hooking up ground and ignition to power up box. if needing color configuration please call us at car r us audio at 520-882-8979

Cannot figure my rear speaker wiring in a 94 chrysler lhs. there are 4 wires for each 6/9

You have 4 wires because 2 are from stereo and the other 2 go to another speaker like a tweeter. You can either hook up the ones from the deck and leave the other 2 at the lose of tweeters. or hook the + together, and hook the - together

The system remote control is usually a blue wire on your decks harness and it is for an amplifier for a sub or other speakers. It sends power to the subs amp when the deck is turned on. You may need to find the wires coming off the antenna and splice them into the red power switching wire 12v on you decks wire harness. Good luck
