How do I view a home-made DVD-R on my computer?

Thanks but my problem was self-inflicted. I hadn't thought to click on the TITLE of the DVD.

When I did that it played just fine. But thank you. Without your assurance that a DVD is meant

to be played on a computer I would not have persevered in pushing all those buttons. Thanks again!

angelo_mic indicated in his answer that the DVD was meant to be played on the computer...and that encouraged me to try again...I clicked what was not obviously the title and the slide show started up fine. Thanks Angelo! Yer an angel.

Hi. Is the the DVD recorded from your camcorder? If yes, all you need to have is a program inorder for you to play the DVD. You may also use Media player in playing the DVD.

DVD plays in DVD player is not seen at all by Windows XP

Hi,it's obvious from your problem that the particular disc that cannot be viewed on your computer is of a formatt not supported by the windows XP.some DVDs are of low quality which can be viewed practically on any DVD player but as a result of their low quality and the sensitivity of the Windows they are not recognized by your computer. In as much as other DVDS play on your computer,it means there's no problem with your computer, but an unsupported disc formatt is been trying to be viewed and there's nothing you can do to view a DVD formatt not supported by your computer.please don't be bothered.
Thanks and take care

How can I view the footage recorded on the DVD-Camcorder?

-Press ‘Play’ on the camcorder and review the footage on the 2.5” LCD screen -Connect the DVD-Camcorder to your television using the supplied Audio/Video cables -Download the file to your PC using the supplied USB 2.0 interface cable(not available on DZMV730A) and view it using a Windows MPEG Player application that supports DVD recording format (.vro file extension). -Finalize a DVD-R or DVD-RW disc and play it directly through a home DVD player.
