It seems that the manufacturer of the Polaroid FLM-373b HDTV either used the wrong parts or there is a design problem. I found someone on the internet who said they replaced two capacitors on the power board and it started working just fine. I took the power board out of mine and sure enough the two caps with the 10v markings were swelled. I replaced them with two 25v caps and it is working just fine. All the other caps on the power board were 16v and above. So, I would assume they were shipped the wrong parts or they just put the wrong caps in to begin with. If you want to send me your power board I will fix it for $50.00 plus shipping.

I could resolve the issue. First of all, the wire supplied with the wii is not compatible with your TV. This 3 point connector, will end up giving you b/w screen. So you need to buy the 5 pin connector. I bought from Frys for $19.99. The box says "High Performance Component HD A / V Cable" (like this one: http://www.bizrate.com/wii-accessories/oid875654433.html )
In any case, do below
1> find the 5 point input row (vertical) on the back of your TV.
2> Insert the connector, in the sequence of Red pin being the bottom most. If its 5 pin connector, then start from the lowest point on the back of TV. If its 3 pin connector, use the top 3 points, on back of your TV. Red always being the bottom most in sequence.
Once again, buy the 5 pin connector, as inserting these pins on the back of your TV when the TV is already mounted on wall, is the hardest part to do...so why to waste your enerty in doing again and again. I am sure you would not like the black & white screen coming with 3 pin connector.
