I have a DI-524, several years old. I'm thinking of buying a media extender for Internet radio. I'm looking at the Squeezebox Duet. It has a wireless card to allow me to connect to my surround sound system. Will my DI-524 communicate with it? Do I need to update my router software? If I am able to communicate, what is the max distance? Is there a way to extend the distance? Please let me know at dw98@bellsouth.net or give a number to call.
Thanks.

It will, as long as your squeezebox wireless card has support 802.11g wifi standard .
