Having gone over a month without a response to my query, I assume the suggested contrast fix solved the problem.

My calculator won't turn on the batteries are fresh plz help

TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible. Does it?

My calculator is slow, I plugged in 2 + 2 and it took my calculator almost a minute to solve. Help please!

If a foreign object is loged in the Rount IO port, it may short the circuits, making the calculator run slow. Remove any material in the IO port, by blowing air or some other way. Do not insert anything metallic.

My fx-300es calculator wont do anything with decimals I need to do decimals for a big test tomorrow please help

When a result is displayed as a fraction or a radical (let us just say not in decimal format), you can convert it to its decimal representation by pressing [S=D].
If you do not want anything to do with fraction or radicals, just configure the calculator to use LineIO.
To do so, press [SHIFT][MODE] to open the (setUp) confoguration screen. Choose [2:LineIO].

I press ON, then i press the number. My problem is the number not appear on the screen. i spoiled my sister's calculator. help me, please!

Are you sure the calculator turns on? Try using fresh batteries, or try removing and reinserting the batteries and see if you get the same result.
Do you see anything at all when you turn the calculator on? Try pressing '2nd', then 'QUIT' (MODE) a few times.
Did you do anything that you think might have broken the calculator?

TI-89 Titanium won't let me input anything or just freezes

try changing the batteries. Mine had the same issue and that fixed it. FYI you may also want to change out the back-up battery as well since it is now most likely drained. Hope this helps.

Calculator Stuck

Hi. I suspect your calculator BIOS is corrupted. Still looking for the download for that though. Do you have a USB link cable? If so, plug in your calc and check your device information. See if anything comes up.
