Question about Graphics Cards

DELL VOSTRO 200 SLIM TOWER

Have a new VOSTRO 200 with a 256MB ATI RADEON HD 2400 PRO, LFG, V200 graphics card. It only has a DVI output on the back of the card and I desire to run two monitors with seperate presentations. I was told the solution was a VGA XFX PVT84JYAJG 8600GT 512M RT however, while it clearly has a DVI output and seperate VGA output, the card is too big/wide to fit in my slim tower. I'm not computer literate but I sure need some help on figuring what kind of card will fit and give me the dual outputs that I want. THANKS

Go to a shop that has computer guys and ask them. You're probably going to need to do some mesurements and then consult with someone at a computer hardware store.

I have a Dell Vostro 400 and two video cards. Only one card will work and it is an Nvidia GeForce FX 5200.The other one is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO. These are the specs from the two graphics cards:...

you cant join two different platform vga cards. simply because they have their own platform and have separate drivers, so they conflict each other thus causing one of them shut off or disable..

in this case it sounds like you will have to replace it, but why won't the GFX card you have cope? resolution or connectivity. The Radeon HD 2400 is quite a capable card.
