Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Yes, that is one possibility. It could be the cable from the motherboard to the display. Inverters are fairly common problem.

Boot volume error

A stop error indicating UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME is nearly always symptomatic of a hard drive that has died. Take your PC to a local technician to be serviced.

I find the best way to remove a bootup password is to remove all batteries (main and small, cylindrical ones). That clears the clock, also, but should be no problem. Check under RAM and wireless network cards.

Hi!
If you already found the cmos battery, then try to check its "rating" and size to accomodate inside the board. After that fix it as it should be.

Wireless set up

as long as your home wireless network is 802.11g (as opposed to a or b ). I see no reason why that should not work.

all you should need to do is install the software first, then plug in the usb wireless adapter,  once that is done you should then be able to "discover" the local wireless networks, select YOUR network from the list (you may need to enter security details if a WEP key is used), once that is done then all you need to do is change the connection settings in Internet Explorer to "Dial if LAN is not available" and change the LAN settings to "Auto detect settings"

I hope this helps :D
