Question about Watches
Im trying to open a watch so i can put new batteries in. the back of the watch is "japan movement stainless steel back" or something i dont now which way its supposed to be. anyways it has no screws or hinges. i dont know what the product is. it says "oki doki' then there's a c in a circle. thanks. its a kid product i got from my 9 bday.
Hi, this is easy to do what you need is a sharp knife then the back of the watch will have a case on it smaller than the watch you will see its raised and has an edge running all the way round. Sometimes their is a tiny recess running along the top or bottom of this cover this is to put knife into to pry the back off, not all watches have this. If yours dont then get sharp knife and pry the cover off from either the top or bottom it can be tight but get the knife so your putting pressure on to lift the cover up. The cover is only pushed in and it clips in so their is nothing holding it down.
Just keep prying it with a thin sharp knife untill the back lifts off it shouldnt be that difficult but just use thin knife and keep working it so as to lift the back cover off the watch.
This will give you access to the battery and once replaced the back just pushes on by hand push it on hard as this seals it from water and dust.
