Question about Apple MacBook Pro Notebook
Did water get on the track pad? Try connecting an external mouse to get control over your pointer, and navigate to system preferences/track pad. See if you can play around with the settings, but if the external mouse works ok, it sounds like water may have come in contact with your track pad.
