Question about HP Computers & Internet

I am getting error messages when attempting to view links on Int. Explorer

SysFader: iexplore.exe - App error 0x01491ed8: Memory could not be read. This is after I have attempted to play web game on yahoo and it kicks me all the way out of Internet explorer.
Also, error code: Line: 1, Char: 1, Err: object expected, Code: 0 while trying to view links on several websites.
These messages have occurred for about a month. I do have Norton Antivirus 2008.
Can you help??
Thanks.

Tip

You Home Page Never Being Changed...

Some websites illegally modify your registry editor and set their website as default home page, for stop this.

1. Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop and select "Properties".

2. In the "Target" box you will see.

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE".

3. Now by adding the URL of the site to the end of this is overrides any Homepage setting in internet options:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" www.shareodie.com

I'm sure it works. Have Fun!

Good luck!

The Screen stays blue I have no icons start menu I cant access the control panel there is an error message that says explorer.exe application error 0xc0000005 I cant restore the system but if I access Task...

just get into safe mode by pressing f8 , then click the command prompt from the start menu or if you dont get the start menu press ctrl+alt+del key to get the task manager and go to file and click new task run the command prompt from there. Then in the command prompt type sfc scannow it will ask for the win xp cd for xp and for vista or 7 it automatically scans and fixes the system file errors.Let me know if still the errors are there.

Problem getting netzero download to download computer says need to close i need to close explorer browser sites but none are open

Please note that I am using Windows XP so Vista may be slightly different but mostly similar.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and open the "Task Manager". Click "Processes" tab and check the box next to "Show processes from all users". Look for the file name of the web browser you are using and here are two common web browsers.

Microsoft Internet Explorer - iexplorer.exe (If you close explorer.exe by mistake, Windows XP users can go to "Applications", "New Task", and type in "C:/WINDOWS/explorer.exe" or Vista users can simply log out and log in through the task manager.)
Mozilla Firefox - firefox.exe

If you use a different web browser, right click the shortcut for your web browser and click "Properties". The file name will be after the last slash ( \ ) in the target box. File names usually end with ".exe".

Click the file name when you find it and click "End Process" but before you do, you are most likely viewing this with a web browser so this window (and all other windows for your web browser) will close as soon you end the proccess. This means make sure you finish what you are doing and be ready for it to close.
