SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

How to remove protected pic


i glanced through the manual but didn't see anything specific. usually the same process as 'protecting' can be used to remove protection from an image or images. additionally, formatting the card will remove even protected images*.

Screen reads memory card write protected cant get it off


SD type cards have a little switch on the card that can write protect or "lock" it. Take the card out of the camera and check this switch. To unlock it, it should be moved towards the edge of the card which has the electrical contacts.

The card either needs to be reformatted on your computer or your camera if equipped, or it's as simple as unlocking your card which is a small lever on the side of the card that reads lock/unlock, this has gotten me a few times! Hope this helps!

Vivicam 8025 when I shoot a pic the screen reads card full, even with a new card


I JUST GOT AVIVICAM 8025 - WHEN I SHOOT A PIC THE SCREEN READS FULL, THE MEMORY CARD IS NEW. THE CARD IS A SANDISK SDtm CARD 2 gb.
