How to reboot N3252W

Unplug the power, wait an hour, then plug it back while holding the power button down. This will reset back to factory settings and most likely will solve your problem.

Viewsonic Tv turns off on its own...You will be wtching tv for a bit and then it clicks off and not off off the green on button goes red you press it 2 time and it will turn back on but for less time then...

I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.

Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
Solutions?
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.

Hope this helps

My viewsonic n3252w made a pop sound then turned itself off, the tv is 3years old now. when i try to turn it on it tries then goes off again, if i unplug it for a while i get a picture then the same things...

Open the monitor, examine the circuit boards. Look for small components that look like small cans, these are capacitors. If you see any that look bulged on top, then your problem can probably be solved by replacing these. Check out the following sites;
