my lexmark x1270 wont scan can you help me - i press the scan and the arrow pointing towards the com. but the button wont work - but my printer will - can you help me fix the prob.

It's kind of the same for me but it worked befor then I had to reinstall when my computer lost all its memory. If this helps you need to open the All-In-One center then press the button. For me I need to know how to get the All-In-One center program.

my lexmark x1270 wont scan either I tied to download the patch, but it said I was missing a file to complete download of scan.

For the printer to scan you have to have the Lexmark software installed and running. With the software running all you have to do is hit the scan button software can be found here
