SOURCE: My Worcester Bosch Greenstar Combi

just had same problem.  this apprently happens if the power supply has been interrupted or you switch the power on and off.
• The boiler runs for 15 minutes at minimum heat output to fill the condensate trap, the display (K) alternates between -II-” and the boiler flow temperature. This occurs every time the mains supply has been interrupted.

Hi, Have you determined if you have power to your ignitor first of all? The boiler control light is flashing 4 times due to an error, do you have a chart that tells the codes on this boiler? The first thing I would check if you have a meter, if not try and get one is to find out if you have power at this ignitor module. If you do, more then likely the ignitor is faulty if its calling for heat. If you have no power, you would need to go back to find what supplies power to the ignitor. It should be the control stat that does this. Its a process of elimination at this point to track down why the module/ignitor is not firing on a call. If you have any kind af manual or schematic to look at, this will come in handy to find out what is going on, and what has failed in the system with the 4 flashing code lights. Try and get a meter and check for power to narrow these controls down, you may just have a faulty ignitor as they are normally the first part to fail. Please keep me posted.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

PS, check all of your safeties as one may have the ignitor locked out.

SOURCE: The boiler stopped twice during

Good Question!-- Let's see if we can figure this out--

What kind of fuel are we talking about? - Gas or Oil?

Any clue as to WHY the boiler stops?--
Can you see a water level, or a temperature or a pressure setting/ gauge?
Tell us what some of these readings are--

If it is gas-- how does ignition take place?-- Spark, or ignitor ignition?

Where is the Reset button?-- is it on the burner control-- or the water level control?

Tell us more--

SOURCE: our boiler keeps cutting out

Sounds like a circular pump problem. I would have the pump checked by a licsence HVAC company.

Your electric eye is dirty, most likely caused by a dirty nozzle. Replace line filter, replace nozzle (with same type of nozzle), be careful not to move the igniters, and check draft for correct air to fuel ratio.

Thanks for that mike, it is a worcester bosch combi 24cdi heating and water can stay on for an hour then everything goes off and the red light flashes. it will come straight back on when reset, but then...

Check the pressure reading, should be about 1 bar when system is cold. Various models in the range of 24cdi. If you do not have a manual, go to,
http://www.centralheating.co.uk/Boiler-Manuals/worcester-bosch-boiler-manuals/worcester-bosch-discontinued-boiler-manuals.
Get the manual for your unit, to wards the end of install manual it has a fault finder, Also has a basic 1 in the user manual. Number of flashes how fast the light flashes which one flashing can all mean different, So get the manual and check, Some parts are easy to fix, as long as you do not touch the gas side the rest is plumbing. Come back if needed.

Bosch dishwasher model shu43c05uc diagnostic code C1 at start then P0. what does this mean?

You seem to have inadvertently put it into the test sequence. Try pressing the two reset button simultaneously (usually the reset buttons are 1st and 3rd from left each with a dot underneath, if this does not work, press the button between the two resets (2nd button) P1 should come on then press the right reset button. The unit should run through a test cycle for approx 20mins and eventually reset the module, this is indicated by 0 in the display. Please repost if further assistance required.

Lighting the pilot light on a Worcester 24CDi combi boiler.

Most of these boilers don"t have a permenant pilot light they have electronic ignition that lights the burner when you are calling for heat or hot water, is there enough water pressure in the boiler ( there is a small gauge on the bottom r/h side of the boiler the needle should be sitting at between 1 - 2 if not enough pressure the boiler won"t light )
