SOURCE: hay baler twine double knot

Your timing belt has slipped. If you have the repair manual for your baler, this is a relatively easy repair.

I have a ULT2002D Brother sewing machine that keeps catching the thread. From the needle and winds around the bobbin causing a jam. What Can I do about this and can I fix it myself

Sounds like there is a hook of metal either on the needle or the bobbin case (sometimes happens when trying to sew something very very thick and the needle bends slightly and hits the bobbin case.). Suggest changing needle 1st, if this is not the problem, take out bobbin case and look and feel with fingers, if there is a mark where the needle has hit just use your own steel nail file and file the area very gently to remove the bur. Good luck!

THe needle hits the bobbin case. The timing seems to be out about 90 degrees to 9:00. Can you help? Thanks so much. Karen

Hi, your timing can be adjusted. Possibly a gear slipped inside.

One of the four diagrams on this link should help you readjust it.

You can also get a manual from

let me know if you have further questions along the way

good luck

How do l adjust the cast iron needle lift arm so knotters will knot?

Your taking about a baler right. Adjust the arm so that it comes up and rubs on ,but not tight enough to wear out the knotter claw it also has to come up far enough so the twine can be grabbed by the claw

Rockola 424 jukebox

Check the main gears at the bottom of the gripper arm as these get gummed up and need to be free.It sounds like it has not finished it's cycle as the last bit is dropping the arm. WATCH YOUR FINGERS as the motor won't stop until the switch is hit on the cam at the back of the tone arm.

Right needle hits stitch finger "A" and breaks or bends, leaving nicks in the stitch finger. I don't know what stitch width to use with each finger (A and B), or if it makes a difference. Manual does not...

Sounds like your machine is either out of time or the needle isn't in far enough. I am more apt to say, out of time.
. You should take it to your local repair center

For some reason the needle wants to wander from side to side. Even on the straight stitch, nothing seems to hold the needle straight.

The selector finger that runs on the camstack may be between the straight stitch and the zig cam, you need a shop adjustment
