Question about Ovens
Help. I have been without the self cleaning function on my oven for years(the door wont lock) but now, I have a f3 error. Just recently, it starts flashing f2 out of the blue! I cant use it, and it still will start beeping f2 at the weirdest times.
My question is, since it is 11 years old, should i pay to fix it, or just replace it?
If it is an easy fix, then could you point my husband in the part number direction so he might fix it?
the entire model number is jtp15bow1bb
The problem may very well be in one of the micro switches on the self cleaning motor bracket. These switches control the electrical flow to the heating elements. In the owners manual there is/should be a chart that lists the unlock and safety combinations. This would be your best source of information.
