TRANSFERING RINGTONES FROM HTC TYTN TO MPTOROLA...

posted by jagold on May 14, 2008

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I AM DOING AND SUGGEST WHAT I SHOULD DO.

I FIRST TURNED ON THEN OFF ON MY TYTN, THEN I TURNED ON AND OFF ON MY i880.
THEN I OPENED THE i880 TO LOOK FOR DEVICES AND IT FOUND THE TYTN.
THEN THE TYTN ASKED IF IT WANTED TO CONNECT AND I PUSHED YES AND TYPED THE 4 # CODE.
THEY WERE BOTH CONNECTED.

THEN I WENT TO THE STORAGE CARD ON THE TYTN AND PICKED A TUNE AND PUSHED COPY, THEN PUSHED PASTE AS IF IT WAS GOING TO THE i880.

NOTHING WAS COMING UP ON THE i880.

LET ME KNOW WHERE I WENT WRONG AND TELL WHAT I SHOULD DO.

THANK YOU

2 Scroll to the audio file, picture, or video you want
to send.
3 Press m.
4 Select Send Via....
5 Select Bluetooth.
6 Select the device you want to transfer to. -or-
Search for the device you want to transfer to by
selecting [Find Devices].
7 If prompted, bond with the device.
Your phone connects to the device and transfers
the audio file, picture, or video.

This is the exact instructions from the manual, here is a link to your manual, if it still doesn't work, then you will have to contact your service provider since it will be a problem on their end then, possibly copyright or something.

here is the manual
