XO1915BT In Dash Mobile System

I just installed this into my 2004 Buick Rendezvous.

I know its hooked up correctly because i can listen to the radio and the bluetooth is working fine.

Whenever I insert a DVD it plays for about 2 seconds and then the screen turns blue and says "caution: do not watch screen while driving"

With the type of vehicle i have, there is no break detection wire that I can ground to bypass this.

Any help on how to get the DVD's to play?

There is a wire included in the harness, which needs to be connected to a ground I think it was called "PARK" or something. Just turn on the radio with a dvd in it, while touching the excess wires to a ground. You'll quickly have it in hand.

This was done as a safety feature to ensure you're not driving while watching a DVD.

How do I hook up a pioneer avh-p1400dvd radio to a 2004 ford explorer

You need a Metra 95-5026 dash kit and a 70-5521 wiring harness if you have the Mach system or a 70-1771 if you have a standard system. The dash kit will have instructions on how to get the radio out of the dash. Check ebay for thr items as you can get packages that will be a lot cheaper than buying from your local audio shop or a place like Best Buy

When playing cds in my sony cdxgt500 the sounds come throught the door and rear speakers fine, but not through the subs. everything works as it should while playing the radio.

Hello.... it sounds like you have the remote wire for the amplifier hooked to the solid blue wire behind the radio. You need to hook to the blue/white wire behind the radio. What happens is that the solid blue wire turns on the power antenna when you are listening to the radio and it turns off (lets the antenna down) when you listen to a cd. There should be a blue/white wire that is the amplifier turn on wire that will stay on as long as the head unit is on. Hope this helped!

Where is the aux port to run an iPod on the xovision indash series xo1915BT

In the back of the unit. You will need to buy a seporate cable (red/white to 3.5mm) and run it into a location where you can hook up your MP3 player. I have mine going through the dash, and into the glovebox. Go with at least a 3foot cable.

Need to know how to hook up the wires for the radio

Find a wiring diagram for the audio system in your car (the ones in the Haynes Repair Manuals are excellent). That will tell you what each of the wires sticking out of your dash is. The wires sticking out of the back of the new radio should be labeled, if not, consult the installation manual. Hook the wires from your radio to the corresponding ones in the dash, and you're done!

N.B. It also helps to have a voltmeter to determine which of the wires are hot.
