My Dell 924, AIO, Printer is ready to copy when it work alone. But when connected to my Toshiba Satellite Computer to try print copy from any file, the computer shows the printer status is Paused and I can't get any print. I registered order # U120910-27LJA, after I paid $29.95 Last night

    Hello,

    I did as instructed above, and restarted the spooler service, but with no luck.

    I am Windows XP Home Edition on my Toshiba. I appreciate the further, much needed assistance.

Did you installed the drivers and software for the Operating System on your Toshiba Satellite without any error messages? Will you like to try to restart the spooler service and see whether that will fix it for you? It can be found in Control Panel->Services or if you click on the start menu and right click on the computer item and select manage from there you will see the services group in the window opened and then you can located the spooler service (printer pool queue) and click on it and then click on the restart button on the top of the window (shows a bar and an arrow on the button). If that does not fix the issue, let me know what operating system is installed on your Toshiba Satellite and I will post further.

My Dell AIO 924 printer will not feed paper.


1.Check inside the printer to see if you have the ink properly installed.
2.Make sure you don't you re-use papers that you have already used.
3.All papers have to be perfectly allined.
4.Check the connection wires between the computer and the printer.
5.Scan your computer with a security system to catch and eliminate viruses,tracking cookies etc.
If all else fails I don't know what to say

My Dell Photo A10 Printer is stuck on 'PAUSE' and I can"t get it off . Please help.


There is no A10 printer , the AIO stands for All-In-One. So i'll assume you have the 924 model.
First make sure the printer itself is functional: shut it down, disconnect it from the pc, start it and use it to scan and copy a file - just press the Start button.
If it doesn't work then the printer is effectively dead - the damage is in the procesor and to replace iot would cost more than a new printer.
If it works then there is something wrong in the setting from the pc. In that case the first thing you should check in Start ? Control Panel ? Printers and Other Hardware ? Printers and Faxes ? Double-click Dell Photo AIO Printer 924, and then click Printer ; in there make sure a check mark is not next to Pause Printing. If a check mark is next to Pause Printing, click Pause Printing to clear it. If it's not then the driver and the associated utility have been corrupted: uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs, reboot , manually wipe all the remaining Dell folders reboot one more time and reinstall them.

No matter how many times I try to print something (& having gone through troubleshooting unsuccessfully) I get the message: - "The Dell AI0 Printer 924 is currently busy. Your print request will...


Uninstall the printer from the Device Manager. Dis-connect the printer from the computer. Reboot the computer. Re-connect the printer to the computer. Allow your computer to detect its' connection from Windows. If it is successful - it will indicate it is ready for use. If not, then there is a problem with the printer. Try another printer, if available, and see if that works - if it does, then it's the printer that's bad, not the computer.

Wrong ink color Dell 924 printer


run a nozzle clean, perform the following steps:
  1. Verify the All-In-One Printer 924 is powered on and connected to a computer.
  2. Verify that the paper support (input tray) has clean, plain white paper loaded.
  3. Press the Menu button.
  4. Press the Down button until Mode: Maintenance appears on the LCD screen.
  5. Press the Menu button.
    The Dell 924 Maintenance Menu appears on the LCD screen.
  6. Press the Down button until Clean Cartridges appears on the LCD screen.
  7. Press the Start button.
    The AIO 924 prints the cleaning page. This process cleans the ink cartridges and resolves many print quality issues.

Dell Photo 926 - unable to scan


1. try to make a copy.

if it copy fine, then its an issue with software.

2. Try to scan with MS Paint,

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint
Click on file > from scanners and camera > scan

It should scan if its not the windows issue...

3. Try different computer if it does not scan with Paint\

4. If it works with Paint, try to open Dell AIO center and try to fax from that too...

5. Turn the printer off, take the power brick out from back of the printer where power cable goes in , wait for 15 seconds to connect it back and turn on and try again to print, it should work fine

Dell 924 will not scan


Try reinstalling the driver. Usually the scanning utility needs to be tied to an application like photoshop to process.

Small thin film fell out


Try to cut off a thin plastic strip. just try to copy that. it basically guides the cartridge on where to print. also i remember that it should have a spring connected to the holes.
