Hi,when you get message that says "pocket data connection not available",it simply means that the internet settings on your phone has been tampered And that's the reason why you can not get access to the internet on your phone.

To rectify this, you need to contact the network service provider center of the line you are using for assitance. They will assist you on how to configure the internet settings properly and you can now use the phone to access the internet.

Hope it helps.

Have a nice day.

If you contact your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings, they wont charge for sending these and they will send them via text message and this will then update your phone to the latest settings and it will then allow you to do what you want to with your phone.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Hi,
"Subscribe to Packet Data first" message means that you need to activate GPRS on your Nokia Phone. To activate GPRS i.e internet on your mobile you will need gprs setting from your network provider. For this you will need to contact your network service provider and ask for internet settings. They will send you some settings which you will need to save on your phone. After that you can use internet
Thanks and have a nice day.

I am using NOKIA-5233 and am not able to access internet and m receiving message as Packet Data Connection Not Available

Packet data connection unavailable is a carrier error that means either the amount of web access purchased on the account has been exceeded or that your internet connection needs to be reset. Either way you need to contact the carrier and report the problem for them to reset your internet counter in their system and then turn your phone off and restart it to clean the problem.

This means you do not have an Internet connection. See your phone provider to arrange for Internet connection, this incurs extra costs over the normal phone charges.

well first of all contact your provider for your phone, they know the settings applicable for your phone, like sip settings, gprs, and or 3g settings etc.
